Novotny said meals are taken to anyone unable to prepare their own meals or recovering from surgery or illness. “The larger kitchen will allow for preparing more meals.” she said, indicating hot and cold meals are prepared in the morning and delivered starting at 11 a.m. In 2024, Novotny said TMM will work to get more drivers to deliver meals to homebound residents since the client base has been expanded to have 28 routes over 500-square miles in the county. Novotny said the Guarnieris also donated $2,000 for the construction of the garage and additional parking north of the building. Sandra and her son, Lewis, wanted to continue their support of TMM by donating the two parcels of land last fall. Novotny said Sandra and her late husband Donald Guarnieri were supporters of TMM and volunteered in delivering the meals. The project is still in the development and planning stages with fundraising planned. ![]() ![]() The larger kitchen will allow for more staff and volunteers to be in there. She said the garage will ensure that the vans and other items are protected from the weather. Novotny said the garage is needed to put equipment and vehicles in since catalytic converters were previously stolen off vehicles.
